Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fundraising Campaign

The fundraising period for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fundraising Campaign has been extended until April 30th.

Our School Captains initiated this campaign, with support from the Japan Club of Sydney, Sydney Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Japanese Association of Sydney, reaching out to Sydney’s Japanese community. So far, we’ve raised $8,139 (as of March 19, 2024), and every contribution is appreciated. Donations can be made through Flexischools, which has waived the administration fee for transactions to the Ishikawa Prefecture Earthquake Relief Fund. We sincerely thank everyone for their continued support.

Name

The Sydney Japanese International School acknowledges the Garigal people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which our school is located. We pay our respects to their ancestors and descendants who continue cultural and spiritual connections to Country. We recognise that these lands have always been places of teaching, learning and storytelling. May the spirit of the Garigal people always be present with us under the shade of the beautiful trees across our campus, when we hear the sounds of nature and feel the sun and ocean breeze on our skin, and as we grow, play, learn and connect.
